Ye Krewe of Valor

We are honored and privileged to be the first local veteran nonprofit to be included in the Gasparilla Parade.

Our Krewe is made up of both military veterans and community members who are proactive in making the Tampa Bay Area a better place for all of us.

We put an emphasis on service above self and throughout the year get together to volunteer our time in the community. We pride ourselves in keeping out of pocket cost at a minimum to be part of the Krewe. Instead of high fees and dues that can reach into the thousands, we require Krewe members interested in parade involvement to donate their time giving back to the community.

Do I have to be a veteran to be a member of the Krewe?

No, you do not need to be a veteran.

What do I have to do to qualify for the Krewe?

You must volunteer during the year at Post 9/11 and Ye Krewe of Valor events.

How do you know if I have been at an event or not?

You do have to sign in at every event that you attend. Even if you signed up at the last event, you still need to sign up for any subsequent events that you attend or volunteer.
