Ten years ago, John and I set out to tackle a challenge that too many veterans face: the struggle to transition from military service to civilian life. We knew firsthand that the journey didn’t end when the uniform came off. For many, it was just beginning—a new battle to find purpose, connection, and a place to belong. That’s why we founded Post 9/11 Veterans. Not just to help veterans survive, but to help them thrive.
This year, as we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we’re reminded of how far we’ve come, and how much work still lies ahead. Your support has helped thousands of veterans find the resources, community, and opportunities they need to rebuild their lives. But the truth is, there are still too many veterans who feel lost, disconnected, and undervalued after their service. That’s why we’re not just celebrating this milestone—we’re using it as a rallying cry.
These aren’t just words, they’re a call to action. Our veterans deserve more than just a “thank you for your service.” They deserve a chance to lead, to grow, and to continue making a difference in this world. And that’s where you come in.
This is our moment to do more. Over the next decade, we’re committed to doubling our impact—reaching more veterans, expanding our programs, and creating a stronger, more connected community. But we can’t do it alone. We need your help to make this vision a reality.
Here’s how you can step up:
The need is real, and the time to act is now. Every veteran is a leader in the making, and with your support, we can help them unlock their full potential. Together, we can ensure that no veteran is left behind.
This isn’t just the mission, it’s our duty. Let’s honor each veteran by giving them the opportunities they’ve already earned.
With unwavering determination,
