We connect

We are a central hub for connecting Tampa Veterans

Combining our team culture with programs that give back to local communities we change stigmas returning veterans may feel while positively impacting individual team members and entire communities. These community growth programs and events draw veterans from all walks of life and strengthens our team while building stronger communities within Tampa.
Post 9 / 11 Veterans provides a platform, a starting point, and a place of belonging where Tampa veterans find education and camaraderie while working alongside fellow veterans in our community building projects.

Our Mission is Our Community – the military community as well as Tampa Bay and our efforts focus on integrating these communities together so we can create a new future for returning veterans.

Our mission is also driven by these hard
truths surrounding veterans.

Our Grass Root Efforts
Support Tampa
Veterans

After decades of well-intentioned efforts, Congress and the departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs have failed to put a dent in the crisis of nearly 20 veterans dying by suicide every day, about one and a half times as high as the civilian suicide rate, according to the most recent federal statistics.

“We will never solve the problem at the 30,000-foot level where we are,” Rep. Phil Roe, R-Tenn., the top Republican on the House Committee on Veterans Affairs said in an interview with Stars and Stripes. “I don’t care how many bills we pass.” Noting that veteran advocacy groups are critical in guiding veterans to mental health care on a local level, Roe said Congress can’t solve the problem on its own, “it’s got to be fixed from the ground up.”

Our History

Meet Our Founders

When we started this journey in 2015 John and I had this vision of not just giving returning veterans an environment to succeed in, but one where they could thrive. While active duty service is one of the highest honors a person can have, it is common for our transition back into the civilian world to come with its challenges.
It is our belief that today’s returning service members are tomorrow’s business and professional leaders.

This philosophy has helped shape our programs and is why our initiatives revolve around educating, connecting and immersing our returning service members in hands-on and constructive environments where they are able to connect with other like-minded veterans, feel the sense of purpose and brotherhood we all miss, and reintegrate properly back into the Tampa Bay community with the same pride, passion, and feeling of belonging they had while serving on active duty.
