To encourage and inspire all military veterans by providing resources and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Despite ongoing efforts, veterans continue to face homelessness, unemployment, and high suicide rates due to persistent challenges like inadequate mental health support, limited job opportunities, and insufficient resources to address their unique needs, but organizations like Post 911 Veterans are working to improve these conditions through targeted support, advocacy, and bringing veterans together for mutual strength and community.
Every day, 17 veterans take their own lives, and an estimated 241,000 veterans remain unemployed across the United States. For those experiencing homelessness, the cost to society ranges from $14,480 to $64,000 per person annually, with countless lives left in crisis.
But these are more than numbers—they’re fathers, mothers, siblings, and friends who served our country. Behind each statistic is a story of sacrifice met with hardship, and it’s time we step up to honor their service with action.
It doesn’t have to be this way. Together, we can reduce veteran unemployment, prevent homelessness, and provide critical mental health resources to those who gave so much for us.
Join us in creating a future where no veteran is left behind.
